The Recording Engineer will be responsible for setting up and running recording sessions for our clients, handling equipment, and assisting with capturing the best possible sound. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain valuable experience and training from industry professionals, making it ideal for someone looking to build a career in audio engineering. Strong communication skills and the ability to guide and support vocalists and musicians during recording sessions are essential to create a positive and productive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate audio recording equipment, including microphones, preamps, and DAWs.
- Conduct recording sessions for clients, ensuring high-quality sound capture.
- Work closely with artists, guiding and supporting them to achieve their best performance.
- Maintain a professional and friendly rapport with clients, creating a comfortable recording environment.
- Troubleshoot basic audio issues and maintain an organized recording space.
- Learn and grow under the guidance of experienced team members.
Qualifications:
- knowledge of audio equipment and recording techniques.
- Familiarity with DAWs like Pro Tools, Studio One, Cubase or Logic Pro is a plus.
- Strong client communication skills, especially in working with vocalists and musicians.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for audio production.
Schedule:
- Sessions are scheduled by appointment, with availability based on client needs.
- Appointments are available Tuesday through Sunday, within an 11 am to 8 pm window.
- Weekends are typically the busiest, so weekend availability is essential.
